Muppet is a one year old Pekingnese mix who came to us as a stray who was never claimed. She weighs about 10 pounds or so. She is looking for a home to call her own! She is an active little girl that needs a home that will get her the exercise she needs.

Muppet is good around other dogs. Muppet does well on housetraining as long as she is on a consistent routine of being let outside, but will have some accidents when adjusting to a new home and routine. She is a very sweet girl and loves attention. Muppet can be more of a vocal girl so needs a home that will be okay with that.

Muppet is now spayed, current on vaccinations, and heartworm tested negative. She has been dewormed, is on preventatives and microchipped as well. Muppet also had a cherry eye fixed too. She is ready to find her happy ending!

Adoption fee is $350.00 + tax (no checks) The adoption fee will be reduced by $100 through June 1st in honor of National Rescue Dog Day!

This dog will be at our adoption event at the Woodbury PetSmart on Saturday from 11-3 looking for a home!

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable.

There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
