Peekaboo is a one to two year old pomeranian mix who came to us from a shelter where she had been abandoned by her owner and she was scared in the environment.

She can be a little shy at first but warms up and will start to come out of her shell in a few days. She is a very sweet girl and weighs about 7-8 lbs. She is good with people, but since she can be a bit shy, we would recommend older children age 8 and up. She is good with other dogs but we haven't had her around cats. Roxie would like to have another dog in her new home because it will help her feel more confident. She will need a housetraining refresher when moving to a new house and routine. She is now spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, on preventatives, microchipped, and dewormed. Peekaboo had some retained baby teeth removed and she also had a small growth on her foot that was removed and found to be benign.

Adoption fee is $350.00 + tax (no checks)

Please contact the foster to find out of this dog will be attending an upcoming adoption event at the Woodbury Petsmart on Saturday from 11-2pm.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
