Jasper is a five year old terrier mix - definitely a low rider mix, with maybe some corgi or basset in there too. He's an adorable mix! He was surrendered to a humane society because his owners were moving and was really scared in that environment so he came to us.

In his foster home so far, Jasper has been super friendly to everyone he meets and has taken no time at all to warm up to them. His previous owners had noted that he would bark at strangers and and take a little time to warm up to visitors at their house. He would bark at cats if they came by his food. He has been exposed to young children before and has done well. Jasper is house trained and crate trained but all dogs will need a refresher when moving to a new house or routine. Jasper is a super great boy and a favorite of many people he meets!

Adoption fee is $350.00 + tax (no checks)

This dog will be at our adoption event at the Woodbury PetSmart on Saturday from 11-2 looking for a home!

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
