Sabina is around a year and a half old and came to us from the humane society where she wasn't doing well in that environment. Sabina's shelter records list her as a terrier/hound mix, but breed is always everyone's best guess! She is petite at 40 pounds.
In her foster home she is doing well with her house training and crate training. She is crated when her foster is not home. Sabina is a younger, more active girl, so she needs a family that is willing to make sure she gets the exercise she needs. She isn't a vocal girl so far, but she will bark at things that she may not have been exposed to a lot in the past and seem a little scary to her (vacuum, wheelchairs, etc) Sabina will become more vocal in a situation that is more stressful.
She is great with other dogs and would like all of them to play with her. She will play with toys too, but playing with another dog definitely ranks #1. Sabina can be jumpy at times and would love a family who will work on some training with her.
We would recommend older kids who are used to being around dogs.
Sabina is a sweet girl looking for her forever home!
Adoption fee is $350.00 + tax (no checks)

This dog will be at our adoption event at the Woodbury PetSmart on Saturday from 11-2 looking for a home!
Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
