“Hi, I’m Eddie! I’m a 7 year old Chihuahua looking for my forever home. I top the scales at 6 ½ pounds. My foster mom says I need to gain a few pounds and get more muscles so I can walk a little longer.

My foster mom and dad call me little peanut for short. I get along with other dogs in my fosters home, even when some of the other dogs are bigger than me. I respect their space and won’t eat their food when they leave it sit there (but I will steal their treats J).

Some of my favorite things to do is to snuggle in a lap. I really like my foster dad too. He lets me snuggle in his shirt at nap time and we watch TV together. I’m not sure what to do with toys yet, but I do bring my two stuffed friends to bed with me to snuggle and curl up on a blanket.

I’m a little thing and fragile and will need to be in a home with children over 8.

Could you be my forever family?

Adoption fee is $300.00 + tax (no checks)

This dog will be at our adoption event at the Woodbury PetSmart on Saturday from 11-2pm waiting to meet you!

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
