Hello! I'm Cody and I'm looking for my forever home! I'm came to New Leash after I was surrendered on a reservation. I'm a small guy at about 20 pounds and just over a year old. We are guessing I'm some sort of Aussie mix, but your guess is as good as ours! But that doesn't really matter because I'm a super cute dude that just wants to play, play, play and then get some cuddles from my foster! I'm full of spunk and good with dogs! I also love treats.. those things are good. I'm hoping to find my forever family soon so that we can have tons of fun and make lots of memories!
Cody needs a fenced in yard and will run out the door if kids leave it open, so best with older kids who will close doors and keep him safe. He will do best with a doggy friend who likes to play, so he can burn a little bit of his energy.
Adoption fee is $375.00 + tax (no checks)
Foster to contact: Holly - 612-735-8684 or email@example.com
Please contact the foster to find out if Cody will be at an upcoming adoption event in Woodbury.
Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
