Dougie is an 8 month old lab mix who came from the humane society because he wasn't getting enough exercise and he was stressed out by the environment. Dougie has been doing well in his foster home.
Dougie weighs about 30 pounds right now. He is high energy and loves to play with toys and other dogs. He has not been around cats that we know of. If he gets.stressed out or over stimulated, he can be mouthy, so he will be best either older kids ages 8 and up who are okay with that.
Dougie is working on a housetraining refresher and will need the same as he moves to a new house and a new routine. He is crated when his foster is gone and may make a little noise at first.
Adoption fee is $350.00 + tax (no checks)

This dog will be at our adoption event at the Woodbury PetSmart on Saturday from 11-3 looking for a home!
Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
