Lillian is an 8 year old domestic shorthair who came to rescue from a local shelter where she was very scared in the environment. Her family was moving out of the country and couldn't take her with.

Lillian lived with other cats in her prior home, and she had been there since she was a kitten. In her foster home, she has taken time to warm up to other cats and has preferred to be independent and off by herself. She is a shy girl, who needs time and patience for her to come out of her shell. She will accept pets and treats from her foster mom.

Lillian needs a quiet place to live out her years. She has never been exposed to dogs, and would likely be too scared to handle a canine in the home. She would be okay with other cats who will give her space, and she needs to be around calmer children age 10 and up.

Lillian is spayed, FIV/Felv negative, and she just had a dental cleaning as well. She is microchipped as well.

Adoption fee is $150 + tax (no checks)

This cat will not be at an adoption event so please contact the foster.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
