Look at that face! Ted is a total doll. All he wants is to play with you and be loved. It's hard to imagine what his life must have been like before he found his way to New Leash. This energetic guy might be a little too much for some dogs but dogs who love to play love Ted. Unfortunately, right now Ted has to take things extra easy because he is Heart Worm positive and receiving treatment but in a couple months he will be free to jump, spin and run all he wants.
He's great in his crate, house trained and besides having to remind him of a few rules such as no counter surfing, he's been a perfect gentleman.
Any vet bills for his heart worm treatment is covered by New Leash Rescue. If you have any questions please feel free to email his foster (email address listed below).
It is imperative that Ted is kept on Heartworm preventatives year round which will be the new owners responsibility.
Adoption fee is $350.00 + tax (no checks)

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable.
There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
